Columbus Marriott Northwest

Axis Hospitality Construction completed a multimillion dollar renovation of Columbus Marriott Northwest. It was one of 7 simultaneous projects of similar scope. Axis quickly set themselves apart from the other companies with their level of commitment to insuring proper interpretation of the architecture plans and the timely completion of the project. The Columbus project, on a regular basis, far exceeded the pace and attention to detail in comparison to the other projects. Additionally Axis anticipated many problems in advance with extreme responsiveness.

Dean DuBois
Sr. Project Manager
RLJ Lodging

"RLJ Lodging Trust has used Axis Hospitality Construction on several hotel renovation projects over the past several years with much success. The renovation projects that Axis performed for RLJ consist of both public space and guestroom/corridor renovations for our Marriott and Hyatt brands for full service hotels to those with select service.

Axis has consistently provided RLJ with fair, competitive job pricing; excellent on-site personnel; and quality workmanship. They are also very sensitive to hotel concerns during a renovation as demonstrated by their working closely with hotel management/ownership to limit business interruption, guest inconvenience, and revenue displacement. We can strongly recommend Axis as a quality general contractor who is dedicated to the execution of a successful project."

Tony Sherman
CEO, Terrapin Investments

“We competitively bid out the specifications for the exterior remodel of our Hampton Inn in Albuquerque. Axis was competitive from the start and the clear pick. I am very glad that we went with Axis, because in addition to being the best priced, they were a pleasure to work with and were professional and I would use them again”

Edward Clark, NBF Architects P.C.

I recently had the pleasure to work with Kory Cutler, Joel Kingsley, and the Axis Hospitality crew to renovate the exterior of Hampton Inn White River Junction, VT. The project was to update to current Hilton standards and had several issues with the existing building that made integration of the new standards challenging. A creative and thoughtful builder would need to collaborate with the design team to find solutions that would work for the project and be approved by the brand. Fortunately, Axis brought the knowledge and experience from updating previous Hiltons. They brought forth several ideas which were implemented and resulted in savings, simplification, and all were approved by Hilton. Even with the country in the grips of a pandemic, the Axis team was able to complete the project on time and on budget. Axis inform us of an issue and suggest several solutions that could be integrated with little to no extra cost. This is the kind of collaboration that I as an architect appreciate and value greatly. It has been a pleasure working with the Axis team and I look forward to working together again in the future! Thanks very much for a successful project!
